Welcome to Year 12!  It is the first year of the two year A level class.  The practical exam consists mostly of Access and Excel.  Make sure that you know your formulas and queries from last year!  You will need Access and Excel in English to complete the homework that is assigned.  The hardest part of the class is the transition from IGCSE to A level answers to questions.  Most of the time, the answers have to be detail oriented and concise.  Unlike the IGCSE, not many marks are awarded for "cheaper, faster, etc".  You need to clarify and give examples when needed. Under the section called Attachments, you will find a copy of your syllabus.
